Literature and interviewees consider embracing new technologies as part of the company culture as an essential factor to drive organisational AI acceptance. It is noted by interviewee 11 that the company culture is difficult and time-consuming to change. Interviewee 7 assumes that influencing culture and change in smaller organisations is less challenging due to less employees and its horizontal structure. The majority of interviewees recommend a transparent and early communication about AI intentions associated with the implications and consequences to ensure employees’ engagement and involvement.
